Hanesbrands, Inc. is a socially responsible manufacturer and marketer of leading basic everyday apparel. With 65,000 employees in more than 40 countries, the company has standardized on English as their global business language.
The Hanes Human Resources team needed a fast and effective program to benchmark their global talent against English standards and provide multi-cultural communication and language skills training where required.
The company adopted Learnship Baseline Step+ digital assessments to gauge general English skills, offering access to the Learnship Solo self-paced training solution for those who needed it.
The program helped improve plant managers’ communication skills and increase efficiency across engineering teams, realizing an estimated $300,000 in productivity gains since partnering with Learnship.
