Brandon Hall Rewards NTT DATA and Learnship GlobalEnglish Program

GOLD Award for “Best Advance in Creating a Learning Strategy” developed for the 3500 professionals of the Italian branch

Milano, 23 October 2019 – NTT DATA, a Japanese multinational leader in consulting and IT services, announces the winning of the Gold Award in the Best Advance in Creating a Learning Strategy category assigned by Brandon Hall to the Learnship GlobalEnglish project developed in Italy.

Knowledge of the English language is becoming a fundamental requirement for knowledge workers in today’s global and hyper-connected workplace. In response to this challenge, NTT DATA collaborated with Learnship GlobalEnglish to design a program that could help all employees communicate more effectively with colleagues around the world and better serve an increasingly global customer base.

The digital language training project started with a pilot program and, by May 2019, had expanded to 80% of NTT DATA’s Italian employees. Each employee is assigned to a 12-month basic program with clear performance targets and the best students have access to more advanced personal coaching sessions.

Now entering its 25th year, the Brandon Hall Group Excellence Awards is the most prestigious awards program in the industry. Often called the “Academy Awards” by Learning, Talent and Business Executives, the program was one of the first of its kind when it debuted in 1994. The applications are evaluated by a jury composed of veterans, independent experts in the sector, analysts and leaders of the Brandon Hall Group based on the following criteria: response to needs, program design, functionality, innovation and measurable overall benefits.
