Live Training in the Virtual Classroom
LearnShip’s individual and group training sessions are facilitated by a qualified language trainer. These lessons takes place live in a virtual classroom developed specifically to provide a quality online learning experience.
The virtual classroom has numerous functions that make the learning process dynamic and varied. Content is presented in the form of presentations containing audio, video, pictures and text. The students can actively participate in the lesson using a range of communication tools available to them in the classroom, while seeing their teachers via webcam and speaking over a telephone line.
The innovative LearnShip technology is user-friendly and virtually self-explanatory. Every student is guided through the classroom before the beginning of the course. The technical requirements are minimal: DSL connection, PC, headset or telephone. The virtual classroom is completely browser-based and therefore no installation of software is required. When necessary our technical support service is available to advise on these matters.
The lesson follows LearnShip’s live-teaching method. This is characterised by a strong emphasis on practical application and oral participation by the student in a motivating learning environment.
The use of multimedia learning material and many interactive exercises results in quick knowledge acquisition and, above all, practice of that knowledge. The resulting diversity of educational inputs are capable of engaging a range of learning types and styles (auditory, visual, motor, communicative).
Students can access lesson units after the lesson to review the work covered and to continue with self-study. The material to prepare for the next lesson (homework, vocabulary lists and so on) is also made available to students through the members area of the platform.
