The Development of Specifically Designed Training Plans
LearnShip offers individualized, online foreign language training in English, German, French and Spanish in levels from beginner to mastery.
The development of an individually tailored training plan begins with assigning students a proficiency level according to the results of both written and oral language entrance exams. LearnShip proficiency levels conform to the internationally recognized standards of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) for language learning and the assessment of language skills.
Concurrent with the assessment of their overall language proficiency, a student’s personal training needs are evaluated using a needs analysis. Through this process, students have the opportunity to specify their unique learning wishes particular to the circumstances of their work and life.
On the basis of their language proficiency and individual needs, LearnShip creates individualized training programs for our students. At the core of these programs is a communication-oriented, level-based curriculum designed for the improvement of general business language competency. Job, industry and/or company specific material is then layered upon this core and complemented by content targeting specific communication skills. As a result of this process, our tailored training plans meet the individual goals of our students while insuring their overall improvement along established measures of linguistic competency.
