As well as being responsible for the strategic direction of the company, Mr Bijganath is also responsible for the ongoing development of the LearnShip product.

Before LearnShip, Mr Bijganath was employed in various positions within Bertelsmann AG, including in the RTL Group as the Head of RTL Online - one of the largest German internet platforms. He began his working career as a management consultant with the Boston Consulting Group in England, India and China. Mr Bijganath has completed a master’s degree in Politics of Development at the London School of Economics. During his time studying, he was a freelance trainer and coach.

Thomas Sonntag
Managing Director and Co-Founder

Mr Sonntag is responsible for the marketing, sales and customer service sectors.

Before LearnShip, as VP Europe and General Manager of European Operations at Stardoll.com, Mr Sonntag was responsible for establishing and growing the company’s European market. Before this, Mr Sonntag was employed at RTL Online for 8 years, most recently as assistant director, where he was responsible for business operations.

Jaimie Rath
Director of Studies

Mrs Rath is responsible for the pedagogical side of LearnShip, including supporting our network of external teachers and leading the team of teacher-trainers at the LearnShip Academy.

Mrs Rath has over fourteen years of experience in foreign language and corporate training. Before working in the field of language training, she spent seven years at the Royal Bank of Canada as Training Manager where she was responsible for the ongoing professional development of over 1,000 employees. Mrs Rath has a degree in English from Athabasca University, Canada.
